MENS MINISTRY EVENTS

Men’s Roll Out!Goofy-Baking-Treats

April – NEW MEN’S GROUPS BEGAN

Christianity isn’t a solo sport. Most men are naturally drawn toward isolation and independence. But Scripture is clear that from the very beginning of time we were made by God for community. A men’s group is a place where you can learn to pursue God while engaging in authentic and encouraging relationships with other men. To connect with a group, contact Jason Strodl.

MAY – SOFTBALL SUNDAY
baseballWe dusted off our mitts, strap on the knee brace and grab the Icy Hot—it was a time of afternoon softball! Men’s Ministry hosted a mini tournament on Sunday, May 17th at Desert Breeze Park. Regardless of your skill level—this was a good time of connecting with other guys and just having some fun.

OTHER PURSUIT EVENTS
We’ve got lots of events on the radar for this year! We’re working on opportunities to partner with Habitat for Humanity, host some men’s speakers, try some camping and some events with our kids. If you would like to lead one of these events or have an idea for an event you’d like to lead, contact Phil Taber, Men’s Ministry Director.

    Hi fellas,

This coming Saturday (November 22) at 9 AM, we are taking a mountain bike trip! We are leaving the church parking lot at 9 sharp. Don’t be late or we’ll leave you behind. We are not taking a van, so plan on bringing your car along. We’ll be driving to the Cottonwood Trail System about 10 miles from the church out toward Pahrump. If you want to go but do not have a bike, check into renting one at McGhies. We will not be making any stops at bike shops before the trip, so plan in advance to pick up your bike if you need to rent one. We’ll hit the trail at 9:15 or so and leave the trail around noon. Please, please, please bring plenty of water and a helmet! See you there! If you have any questions, email me (Joshua Long) at jlong@thecrossingonline.com

P.S. You guys can always post events like this by leaving a comment on the Events page of the Men’s blog. Just go to mensministry.worpress.com/events.
